Northern Lights Astronomy Cruise

Experience a holiday of a lifetime on our Northern Lights Astronomy Voyage. The Norwegian Cruise will meander through breath-taking Arctic scenery in search of the greatest light show on earth. The lecturer on board is Dr John Mason, a renowned astronomer who has appeared many times with Sir Patrick Moore on BBC TV’s The Sky at Night. On the deck of ship Dr Mason will give a series of night lectures exploring the numerous myths and legends linked to the constellations in our skies.

The Northern Lights Astronomy voyage proved a great success last year so it is therefore necessary to book in advance to avoid disappointment. The Norwegian Cruise lasts for five days travelling from Tromsø to Kirkenes in hope of seeing the mesmerising Aurora Borealis. There is also a selection of excursions available from husky sledging to snowmobiling.
