Norwegian Coastal Voyages
Every season offers new attractions to be explored and enjoyed on our remarkable Norwegian coastal voyages. From the stunning Aurora Borealis in winter to the country’s magnificent fjords which are bathed in 24 hours of sunlight in summer, there is plenty to see on these unique holidays.
The cruises are aboard ships which have been specially built to explore Norway, which means that they can get much closer to the coastline and the fjords (in summer) than many other cruise ships. Within our range of Norwegian coastal voyages there are both long and short cruises, with optional extensions at the Snow Hotel in Kirkenes or a city at the start of end of your voyage.
Excursions on Norwegian Coastal Voyages
There are many different types of excursions to choose from, which vary depending on the time of travel. During summer the stunning Geiranger Panorama excursion gives you the chance to witness the astounding Geirangerfjord, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. This includes a presentation, a drive up Ørnevien (Eagle Road) and a stop at an excellent viewing point where you can enjoy an extrodinary view of the fjord and The Seven Sisters (waterfall). Afterwards guests take a ferry ride to Linge along the Trollstigen pass or to the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund.
Other popular activities include dog sledding, visiting Svartisen – Norway’s largest glacier and the Trondheim city tour. Full details of the excursions available on all of our Norwegian coastal voyages can be found on our website.
As many activities are extremely popular with limited places we strongly suggest booking any optional excursions that you would like to add to your Norwegian coastal voyage with us when you book your holiday.
