Fly to Iceland
The flybus service will drop you off at your chosen hotel in Reykjavík. Iceland’s capital, which is your base for the stay, possesses the buzz of a big city yet retains all the charm of a small town. This cultural hub has plenty of hidden gems to be sought out and there is always something new lurking around the corner

Day 2 -
City Tour and the Blue Lagoon with Northern Lights Excursion
After breakfast, meet your guide in reception for a city tour of Reykjavik. The tour includes the world's oldest parliament, the unique Hallgrimskirkja church and a lake in the centre of the city, which is inhabited with an array of wildlife. During your excursion you will visit modern suburbs where you will be able to see the striking contrast of the city's modern architecture against its older, more traditional colourful houses.
Around 11.30am you will depart from the hotel on an excursion to the Blue Lagoon, driving over rough lava fields on the way. Make sure you take bathing suits as you can enjoy a dip in the Lagoon’s renowned geothermal water, which is believed to have healing powers due to it being rich in minerals.
In the evening you will go on a bus tour to find the elusive Northern Lights in Iceland, which is one of the best locations in the world for seeing the Aurora Borealis, although we cannot guarantee that you will see them during your break. The bus takes you away from the capital because visibility of the phenomena is better if you are clear from light pollution. You are most likely to see the phenomena if the weather conditions are clear.
