This exciting short break starts in Tromsø, the capital of Arctic Norway. It is positioned at the same latitude as Siberia and Alaska, with the influence of the Gulf Stream creating the longest ice-free polar coast. Together with fellow passengers, observe the sky for a chance to see the magical Aurora Borealis. You will have an opportunity to travel to Europe’s most northerly point, North Cape. This is a wild and windswept headland where cliffs rise dramatically 300 metres from the sea, with nothing but water between you and the wastes surrounding the icy North Pole; or perhaps take an exhilarating ride by husky-dog sledge across the open plains.

After a leisurely day on board we reach Tromsø late evening. Here you will stay overnight at a centrally located hotel and be able to enjoy the delights of this lively town.
