Your Arctic adventure begins and ends in Tromsø, where you will sail along the striking Arctic coastline and soak up some of the most beautiful landscapes. You will travel above the Arctic Circle in the most northerly part of Norway to remote regions where the Northern Lights are more visible against the black skies. Aurora Borealis is an impressive natural phenomenon, you will be astounded by the beauty of this dazzling light display which some are fortunate enough to see. There is a wide selection of optional adventures which you can experience, such as snowmobiling, husky sledge safaris and trips to the Snow Hotel. Day 1 -
Direct Flight to Tromsø

You will begin your journey by taking a direct charter flight from Gatwick to Tromsø, Norway’s Arctic capital, home to the world’s most northerly university and brewery. Due to the climate and high latitude this is a perfect location to view Aurora Borealis, otherwise known as the Northern Lights. You will depart from Gatwick at 10.00 and arrive at Tromsø at 14.30 (times may be subject to change).

Days 2 to 3 -
Pass North Cape into Kirkenes

Relax and soak up the stunning coastline and rugged cliffs as you head towards Hammerfest for the first port of call, then on to Honningsvåg where you will arrive mid-morning. You will have the option to enjoy one of several activities or excursions such as snowmobiling or a visit to the Snow Hotel. Later in the day you will head south, returning to Tromsø.

Day 4 -
Tromso
|
Sail back along the exciting coastline to Hammerfest which is the world’s most northerly town and then continue to Tromsø arriving late evening, where you will be transferred to a central hotel for either a one or two night stay depending on your prior booking.

Depart Tromso
|
You will have time to explore Tromsø, once known as ‘The Paris of the North’, before your departure which will either be on day 5 or 6 dependant on the length of your stay there. Your final journey departs at 15:30, arriving at Gatwick at 18:00 (times may be subject to change).
