Antarctica: Chilean Fjords and Antarctica Cruise

Explore the only uninhabited continent on Earth

Embark on a voyage of a lifetime and travel to parts of the world that very few people have visited before. The Chilean Fjords and Antarctica cruise is for anyone who craves a holiday like no other, for those who want to experience new sights and senses and broaden the mind with a new comprehension of this deserted continent.

The stunning Chilean fjords have very few inhabitants other than a few small coastal settlements which means the entire area is fundamentally unspoiled by human activity. The Pacific Coast of southern Chile is largely fragmented with picturesque islands, straits, inlets and channels which your Antarctica cruise ship will navigate easily. November and December are the southern hemisphere’s summer months and despite this you will still catch glimpses of snow-capped peaks as your Antarctica cruise makes its way through the maze of islands.

Sailing on southwards, prepare to be astounded by magnificent views of imposing ice cliffs, towering mountains, huge glaciers and vast icebergs during the Antarctica cruise. Antarctica is the coldest, driest and windiest continent on Earth and is covered almost entirely by ice. The only permanent inhabitants there are the wildlife. Millions of penguins congregate on the frozen shores, whales are often seen to surface from the icy depths and enormous albatrosses glide across the skies. A summer Antarctica cruise will see over 20 hours of sunlight each day treating guests to a wholly surreal experience.

No two cruises in Antarctica are ever the same. The voyage is determined by weather and ice conditions rather than the itinerary and the route will be decided upon close to departure to ensure a safe journey. During your Antarctica cruise you will sail on board the MS Fram, a ship specifically designed to deal with the icy conditions, you will find the atmosphere to be comfortable, informal and delightfully friendly.
